One of the largest ski areas of Carinthia is in the sunny valley at an altitude of about 1100 m, on the border of the Nockberge National Park. On both sides Bad Kleinkirchheim is surrounded by wooded mountains, whose height reaches 2440 m.
Thanks to the picturesque surroundings and two large thermal complexes, the area is a popular place for recreation and winter sports. "Roman Baths" and "Therms of St. Katrine" are open to all lovers of radon baths.
