The amazing valley of Gastein is located in the heart of the Alps, surrounded by the picturesque Hohe Tauern mountains. The main plus of the valley, uniting the three resorts, in its diversity - depending on your preferences, you can choose either cozy Dorfgastein (maybe even a little rustic, which follows from its name: Dorf - in German "village"), or modern Bad Hofgastein (famous primarily for comfortable hotels with pools with thermal water) or the old aristocratic Bad Gastein, where in the distant 1945 the first lift was opened in the valley. Since that moment the skiing infrastructure of the region has developed up to 208 km of trails and 53 lifts. Between the descents of all resorts, special ski buses run (from 8:00 to 18:00), between some, in particular those relating to Bad Gastein and Bad Hofgastein, and you can even move without taking off skis.
