The charming alpine villages of Saalbach and Hinterglemm are located in the picturesque valley of Glemmtal, 4 km apart. Together with Leogang they form one of the largest sports regions in Austria, called the "Ski Circus". One of the main advantages of the region is an effective system of lifts, covering the whole ski area. In Austria, there are no equal. In December 2015 in the "ski circus" entered the skiing area Tyrolean resort Fiberbrunn.
The new 10-seat lift TirolS connected not only the tracks, but also two Austrian federal lands. New opportunities opened in this regard for fans of off-piste skiing and freestyle. The combined region of skiing with 270 km of trails and 70 lifts is the largest in Austria. Most hotels in the resort can be described as ski-in / ski-out hotels. Guests of the resort almost never spend time in lines for lifts. In Hinterglemm and in Fieberbrunn, in the evening the slopes are lightened.
