In the heart of Styria, the picturesque province of Austria, 165 km from Vienna, surrounded by green hills and spacious meadows, is the comfortable resort of Loipersdorf, famous for its thermal waters. In 1972, they tried to find "black gold" and drilled a test oil well. At a depth of 1100 m sources of highly mineralized water with a temperature of +62 C were detected.
