A very special hotel in a very special place - in the centre of Matrei in Osttirol the hotel offers accommodation and cuisine on a very high and nature-friendly level. The topic which can be seen and felt in the whole hotel are the nature and the closeness to local and regional products and materials: there is no plastic at all in the hotel. Instead you will find regional larch wood, clay walls, natural stone, and loden. Also food-wise the hotel is very much into products from the region and offers for breakfast selfmade bread. The absolute highlight is the numerously awarded (15 points or 2 stars in Gault Millaut 2018, 3 stars and 84 points in a la carte 2018, and 2 forks or 89 points in Falstaff 2018) gourmet restaurant "Inside im Outside" where there is place for only 16 guests which are pampered at its best. To top up these superior services, the hotel offers active programmes in the nature to show the beauty of Osttirol to the guests.

The hotel is in the centre of Matrei and 900m from the valley station of the skilift "Goldriedbahn". The skibus stops 40m from the hotel.

The hotel was built in 1993/94 and completely renovated from 2012-2017.

The hotel accommodates 43 rooms on four floors in one building.

DBL Mountain: 22 sqm, for max. 2 adults + 1 child up to 15 years.

DBL Mountain Plus: 22 sqm, for 2-3 persons, couch.

Suite Tirol: 35 sqm, for 2-4 persons; living room with double pull out couch, bedroom; in traditional Tyrolean design.

Suite Nature: 35 sqm, for 2-4 persons, with minibar; living- and sleeping area optically separated (by curtain); bathroom with rain shower. New suite out of larch wood, clay walls, and natural stone.

Suite Nature Plus: 44 sqm, for 2-4 persons, with minibar; living - and sleeping area optically separated (by curtain).

Suite Zirbe: 35 sqm, for 2-4 persons; living- and sleeping area optically separated (by curtain).

Family room: 44 sqm, for 2-5 persons; 2 bedrooms with own shower/WC with connecting door.

Suite Outside: 60 sqm, for 2-4 persons; entrance area, bedroom, living room, bathroom with corner bathtub and shower, 2 flat TV, Nespresso machine; in traditional design.
